Exterior work in Charleston, SC

Charleston is not one building stock, it's four. Peninsula single houses with century-old framing, 1950s West Ashley ranches, James Island cottages, and new construction on filled ground — each one fails differently. We scope the house in front of us instead of applying one spec to the whole county.

What we do in Charleston

Five trades, one accountable team.

Local conditions

  • 01Harbor salt load plus heavy summer humidity
  • 02Wind-driven rain from the southeast during storm season
  • 03Flood-zone and elevated-structure detailing on much of the peninsula and islands

Permits & access

Work inside the City of Charleston is permitted through the city's permit center, and anything in a designated historic district can require Board of Architectural Review approval before materials are ordered. We confirm which track your address falls under before we quote a lead time.

Peninsula addresses mean narrow streets, shared driveways, and limited dumpster placement. We plan staging and street access up front so your neighbors aren't part of the project.

Areas we cover: Downtown peninsula & South of Broad, Wagener Terrace & Hampton Park, West Ashley, James Island, Johns Island.

Free Inspection

Request a Free Lowcountry Inspection.

We walk the whole exterior — roof, walls, openings, drainage — and tell you what's failing, what's fine, and what it costs to fix. No pressure, no guesswork.
