New composite deck and screened porch overlooking the marsh

Decks and porches you actually trust.

Framing, decking, and railings built to code and detailed against moisture, so the structure stays sound under Charleston sun and rain. Outdoor living only works when the bones are right.

What's Included

Exactly what you're paying for.

  • Design, layout, and permit coordination
  • Footings, framing, and ledger attachment with proper flashing
  • Composite or wood decking with hidden or precision fastening
  • Railings, stairs, and code-compliant guard heights
  • Screened porch and roof structures where scoped
  • Skirting, lighting rough-in, and finish trim

Ledger connections and footings are where decks fail. Ours are inspected and documented, never assumed.

Our Process

No surprises, start to finish.

  1. 01

    Design & Permit

We lay out the deck around how you'll actually use it, then handle drawings and permitting with your jurisdiction.

  2. 02

    Structure First

Footings, framing, and flashing get built and inspected before a single deck board goes down.

  3. 03

    Build

One crew, one lead, one point of contact. We protect the site daily, communicate changes before they happen, and keep the schedule we gave you.

  4. 04

    Walk & Warranty

We walk the finished work with you, correct anything on the punch list, and hand over written workmanship and manufacturer warranty documentation.

Before & After

What actually changes.

Not just a nicer photo. Each pair shows the failure we found and the detailing that keeps it from coming back in Lowcountry wind, water, heat, and salt air.

Before: cupped and splintered boards, rusted fasteners bleeding into the wood, and a post base rotting where it sat in constant ground moisture. After: treated framing on proper footings and standoff post bases, composite decking with hidden fasteners, and an aluminum railing set to code.

Lowcountry gain: hot-dip galvanized or stainless hardware for salt air, ventilated framing and spacing that lets the structure dry, and composite surfaces that skip the annual sand-and-seal cycle.

How long does a deck or porch build take?

Two to four weeks of construction for most projects, plus permitting time with your jurisdiction before we start. Screened porches and roof structures run longer; we give you both dates up front.

Do you handle permits and inspections?

Yes. We prepare drawings, pull the permit, and schedule footing and framing inspections. You get the inspection records with your closeout documents.

Composite or wood?

Composite costs more up front and gives back years of not sanding and sealing in Lowcountry sun and humidity. Pressure-treated wood is cheaper and needs maintenance every couple of years. Framing underneath is treated lumber with coastal-rated hardware either way.

What warranty comes with the work?

Every decks project carries a written workmanship warranty from us plus the manufacturer's product warranty on materials. You get both documents at the final walkthrough, along with the product lines and colors we installed.

Who is on site and who do I call?

One crew, one lead, one point of contact. You get a direct number for your project lead — not a call center — and we tell you about schedule changes before they happen, not after.

How do payments and change orders work?

A deposit at scheduling, progress payments tied to milestones, and the balance at completion after your punch list is cleared. Any change is priced and approved in writing before we do the work.

Ready to talk decks?

Tell us about the project. We'll give you a clear scope, a real schedule, and one accountable team.
